Connect to the battery
Use the insulated clips for quick hookups, or bolt on the ring-terminal cable to leave it connected. Both have a 25A inline fuse.
Roll out the panel
Face it to the sun, tie it down with the bungee cords, and run the 20 ft extension back to the controller. Charging starts immediately.
Roll it up when you're done
The panel rolls into a 12-inch carry bag, with cables and controller packed inside. At 2.2 lbs, it goes anywhere.

FAQ
Will it overcharge my battery if I leave it connected?
No. The Victron MPPT controller manages bulk, absorption, and float charging, so you can leave the kit connected for the whole storage season. Set the battery type in the free VictronConnect app.
Does it work with lithium batteries?
Yes. The controller has a LiFePO₄ profile, along with flooded, AGM, and gel. See the charge settings in the portable guide.
Can the panel get wet?
The panel is IP68 and fine in rain and spray. The controller is splash-resistant only, so keep it inside the vehicle, cabin, locker, or under cover, and run the 20 ft extension out to the panel.
Is 38W enough for my battery?
38W is sized to maintain batteries in storage and between uses, not to run heavy loads or recharge a deeply drained bank quickly. If you need to power equipment or charge larger banks, contact us about our 150W and 275W kits.
What's your return policy?
You can return the kit within 30 days of delivery if it's new and unused, in its original packaging with all parts included. Email support@chargesys.solar for a return authorization before sending it back. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and original shipping charges aren't refunded. There's no restocking fee. If your kit arrives damaged or is missing parts, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll make it right. Defects after that are covered by the 3-year limited warranty.
Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We ship to the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states). Orders ship in 1–2 business days. Standard shipping is $14.95 per kit, and 2-day express is $19.95 per kit. Ordering for Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the US? Contact us.
